Housed at the Chapel of the Holy Spirit (the joint ELCA and Episcopalian Tulane and Loyola Campus Ministry) is the SAFI Pantry.  SAFI stands for Students Against Food Insecurity.  It was started by a group of students who witnessed their friends and fellow students struggling to afford food.  

Many people believe that everyone who attends Tulane must have plenty of money but this is not the case!  After paying for tuition, housing, books, and all the other supplies required for their education many students are left with almost no money left for food.  They can't afford food, let alone healthy food!  

SAFI started to help students have healthy food.  

Grace is taking a collection of this healthy food to donate to the SAFI pantry.  If you would like to donate, please bring your food by Wednesday, February 18th.  Refigerated items should be put in the fridge in the kitchen.
