The Social Ministry team is joining with Bethlehem Lutheran Church to provide a meal one Monday a month for the Community Meal project. Grace has been asked to provide volunteers for the THIRD Monday every month. The work is not physically demanding and the time commitment is limited (generally 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.)
Volunteers assemble approximately 200 bags of cutlery, cookies, snacks, and heated casserole meals. All items are provided and the casseroles are prepared ahead of time. Staying for distribution of the meals is optional, but meaningful.
We are hoping to develop a list of approximately 10 interested people; the project asks for 6 per shift, but it can be done with as few as 4. If you are interested in volunteering please go directly to the Bethlehem Lutheran Church Website to register. If you have difficulty doing so, please contact Sue Pundt or Barbara Artuso for assistance. If you are not one of the first 3 to register, please consider signing up for the first or second Monday, or even the fifth Monday if there is one. The fourth Monday is assigned to another church.
