Bishop Mike currently serves as the bishop of the Texas-Louisiana Gulf Coast Synod. This Fall he will be completing his third term as bishop of our Synod. Even before he was bishop, Bishop Mike was an important friend of Grace Lutheran Church as he played a significant role in helping our congregation recover from Hurricane Katrina! It was Bishop Mike who reached out to all the ELCA Grace Lutheran Churches asking them to aid in our recovery.
