Our A/C units play a critical role in our ministries! Having functional A/C can make or break a church event. Each of these A/C units have their own quirks and personalities but more importantly they are part of the Grace Team and help our church function!
This week we’d like to introduce you to “Leaky Len.”
“Leaky Len” is the unit assigned only to the big room upstairs, which is rented by the New Orleans Children’s Chorus. This unit is unreliable rendering it unsafe for the leaders and children of the NOCC. Len constantly leaks down to the first floor, flooding the utility room, stairwell, and even one of the GICC classrooms. Leaky Len is responsible for lots of extra work from volunteers and Pastor Katie as they mop the flood and dry out the rooms. Replacing this unit is a high priority. Leaky Len is supposed to cool the parts of Grace marked in orange on our church map.
It will cost us about $17,000.00 to replace Leaky Len.
