God's blessings as we begin the new year, 2026! Year-end giving statements for 2025 were distributed this past week. If you did not receive a statement or have questions, please reach out to Pastor Katie (pastorkatie@gracenola.org) or Tina (coordinator@gracenola.org).
We are so grateful to everyone who committed to increasing their giving in 2026! If you plan to increase your 2026 offerings, now is an excellent to update your automatic giving!
As you institute or update your automated giving as needed for the new year, we wanted to share some important information with you:
- Using ACH/Bank Transfer for your donations (as opposed to a credit card) significantly reduces the fees associated with the transaction (whether the member assumes the fees or allows Grace to assume them). Tithe.ly transaction fees are as follows:
-- 1% + $0.30 per successful charge - ACH/Bank Transfer
-- 2.9% + $0.30 per successful charge - VISA, MasterCard, Maestro, Discover, JCB, Union Pay, Diners
-- 3.5% + $0.30 per successful charge - American Express
- Please note that although there are transaction fees associated with automated giving, they are comparable to those charged by most companies who provide businesses with these types of services. (Although Venmo and PayPal and the like do not charge transaction fees for PERSONAL accounts, BUSINESS accounts do not have that same benefit. Additionally, these types of external collection services are not integrated with our member database and website and member donations would have to be manually imported or entered after the fact creating a lot of extra work for our staff and volunteers.)
- Automated giving is very helpful in reducing your efforts and those of the church staff and volunteers as your transactions are automatically deposited and recorded in our member database for accounting purposes and member statements.
- And finally, one fun fact: Our Tithe.ly All Access membership integrates our giving platform, church management system (member database), website and newsletter, and the church app! Did you know that when we switched to this application and cancelled our subscriptions to the individual applications for the aforementioned services, we experienced a cost-savings of over $3000 per year? How cool is that!
