Please note that our giving funds in Tithe.ly have been updated to include only the following:

  • Regular Offering (formerly "Budgeted Operations") - This fund covers the budgeted operations of the church, including, but not limited to, building maintenance and upkeep, utilities, equipment repairs and replacement, pastoral and staff salaries, and other essential services.
  • Jazz Service - Monies deposited to the Jazz Service fund are used to compensate musicians and staff dedicated to these services and to fund the receptions that follow.
  • Glass Half Full - Glass Half Full provides glass recycling solutions for residents, businesses, and events in the New Orleans area. We serve as a collection site for the organization and the monies deposited into this fund cover the costs associated with that service.
  • Property – Monies given to this fund support repairs and maintenance to our church property including AC, roof, and plumbing repairs.  While we budget for scheduled property expenses and primarily pay for them through our Regular Offering, the Property Fund gives us an extra boost when we have unscheduled expenses.
  • Chuck it in the Bucket - The fund covers donations to community organizations and special projects or funds as designated by the Social Ministry team for a given month. (For example, if the Chuck it in the Budget collections for the month of January are designated to go to the New Orleans Women and Children's shelter, all money deposited to that fund in the month of January will be disbursed to the shelter after the month ends.)
  • Grace Memorial for Missions - The Grace Memorial for Missions Fund was established after Hurricane Katrina, for Grace to reach out to others in an institutional way and help those who suffer a disaster or need our help. Monies deposited to this fund are used to provide monetary assistance to various groups and congregations.
  • Memorials - Memorial gifts are those made in memory of loved ones who have passed away. Monies deposited to this fund are considered regular offerings so they can be used where the church needs them most; but they are noted and acknowledged as memorial donations.

As always, we thank you for your generosity in giving to the ministries at Grace.  Your support is very much appreciated!
