Welcome to Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church. In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and the immense disaster and suffering it brought to the lives of the people of New Orleans, we are a growing ministry determined to make its mark in the long-term rebuilding of not only our homes and churches, but to also support and develop the entities that minister to areas of injustice that exist in our great city. The Grace Infant & Child Care (GICC) has reopened! The center has been in existence for more than 20 years, and reopened Fall 2008 after Katrina. We are proud to offer a Mother’s Day Out-type program to the families of our community. Our program allows for a lot of same-age interaction and has a firm policy of low teacher : child ratio. We have an open door policy, so please feel free to stop by anytime during operating hours to check out the facility and talk to the director, Lauren Lewis.

The GICC is open Mondays through Thursdays from 9:00 am until 1:30 pm. Spots are available for 1, 2, 3, or 4 days per week at a graduated tuition rate. At this time, GICC is registering children 3 years of age and under.

Contact the GICC by calling Lauren at 504-482-1488 or by emailing her here
